The IO Games Genre Did you hear about the new game genre that is taking over the gaming industry? If you did not, you are clearly not playing enough computer games. I am talking of course about the io games buzz. Named after the .io ending which each game ends with. The first io game was agar.io, it was a great success, but after the second game, slither.io, which was even a greater hit, it became a worldwide epidemic. These are multiplayer games where you play against people from all around the world. Most games have the same basic concept of fighting against your fellow player, trying to claim to the top of the chart. Each player tries to eat as many static objects and to attack the dynamic players, usually getting bigger while doing that. You need to be fast and have good strategy if you want to win. Each io game have its own unique little rules which you have to learn, but they mostly straight forward. These games have high energy and are a lot of fun.
